Thank you Jayne. The loss of mum is about to approaching the terrible twos toddler phase and I have a few more of those tears left xxx

Oh Myf I'm so sorry. I remember a friend saying until your kid is five you should expect nothing of yourself other than basic survival. Same with grief. The wayward toddler - such hard work and so hard to reconcile with daily life. Hope you're finding space for the tears, and have a good patchwork doll to hug after. Sucks so bad. Thinking of you. Xxxxx

Thank you for your words Jayne. I too am in the grief club. Turning 22 in March, so like you in the milestone year. Until I read this I didn’t realise I’d created my own patchwork doll. This idea is so comforting and I’ll keep it close. Your grief has made something very beautiful.

Wow, 22. Your grief has probably a decent car by now, and is planning to backpack around the world. So sorry you need the patchwork doll, but it is wonderful isn't it. We don't imagine anything could arise from the gaping hole, yet up sprouts so much beauty, if we let it. Lots of love to you.
